Flash visits the pond

I took Flash to the pond yesterday. He hasn't shown any interest in the ducks or geese, so I thought it would be safe to let him run loose and have some fun. The first thing he did was explore the turkey pen and steal a small plastic grain shovel. I told him to "leave it" and he dropped it. Good boy.

Next he found a goose egg and ate it. Oh, well.

After that he just ran around looking at the water, taking a drink; but he didn't get his feet wet. Will he be a swimmer?
