Today was Movie Tuesday. Dennis left for a meeting early this morning and I left for the movies at 10:30. I was gone until about 4:30. When I came back home, I didn't see Flash in the back yard where he usually is. Then I remembered that I forgot to lock his dog door so he couldn't come in the house while we were gone.
I opened the kitchen door and there he was, looking sheepish and a little guarded. He didn't know if he was going to be punished. But I looked around, expecting toilet paper rolls torn to bits or other mayhem. But the house was perfect. He was so good, he didn't do anything except perhaps sleep.
So I rewarded him with another walk on the 1-mile trail. That made 2 miles for us today.
